So far no one has been able to reverse engineer the technology. they were developing a super weapon capable destroying entire star systems. The Reapers have been defeated but their legacy remains. but they aren't trusted after what happened in the Reaper War. The geth have started to contact other races peacefully. All races are allowed to take part (replaces UP). Citadel council still exist, but in different form. Krogans are nearing breakthrough for the cure to the genophage. Quarians have settled a new planet with help from human Alliance. The Reaper War ended a bit over 40 years ago. Also here's backround story (i may and will change it, we'll just "retcon" stuff in the mod) it's 2227 (hardcoded to game, darn). we could call Huge ships with fleet bonus modules (tulon weapon focus/it's mass effect version if there's one) a carrier. ME Codex gives following ship classifications: Dreadnought (this would huge hull) Cruiser (large) Frigate (medium) Fighter (anti-capital fighter, i'd say small) Interceptor (anti-figter, i'd say tiny) Also there was Carrier but GalCiv2 doesn't have carriers. Actually, in the cutscene where you first see the Citadel, there are some ships that aren't human ships (IMO) but maybe turian.
